Renault have been making trucks sinse 1906, and now manufacture a range of commercial vehicles suitable for a variety of applications - from parcel delivery to heavy construction.

Renault Gearbox Renault predominately now use ZF transmissions on most of their range. The ZF S5.42 and ZF 6S.850 appear in the lighter series although some 18-ton vehicles do have the Eaton 5206 and Eaton 8309 medium duty transmission. On the heavier range of trucks, Renault uses the I-Shift automated transmission, which is also fitted in the later Volvos.

Renault Differential Renault produce their own axles and driveheads on many models. The heavier range shares driveheads once again with Volvo. Meritor driveheads are also now used on the medium and heavy-duty series.

Renault Power Steering Power steering has been a major part of our product range for a number of years and with the popular units fitted to Renault being ZF. A full service exchange system is available.
